This resort is great and offers a lot of options. There is plenty of dining, outdoor space, etc.
The property and rooms were clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly!
There is plenty of outdoor space. There was an inflatable screen with movies outdoors in the evenings. There are multiple pools (including an adult only pool) and a nice lazy river.
The fitness center is nice, but you do have to walk outside to get there. For a property of its size, I thought the workout facility would be a bit larger.

Dirty, foul smelling room, loud staff late at night arguing and again early in the morning.
We were given one towel and one bar of soap for two people to stay for 5 nights. We asked the front desk manager if we could have the room cleaned because it was disgusting. “they get cleaned twice per week” which was obviously not true looking at the room. He told me if I wanted clean towels to follow him into a back room where they keep linens and said I needed to grab new sheets, towels, pillowcases, etc. myself and take care of it myself. Typically this is all taken care of by the hotel and not by you after having to ask for clean linens.
Not the type of stay that you rave about or encourage for anyone you care about. Stay away from this hotel if you can help it.

The first morning I woke up to walk to the restroom and the carpet around the A/C was completely soaked with water. My feet got completely soaked. Not just a little water. A lot of water. Then the toilet roll holder fell off the wall. The hotel did use a blower to dry the carpet but I think they forgot about it because it was still in the room when we got there at 9pm.
Breakfast wasn’t bad. It’s in a decent location. But not a good experience with the room.

Hotel was recently renovated and it was a pleasant surprise. Everybody I encountered was in a good mood and talked with anything I had a question about. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and fresh. Close to a Barnes and Noble book store, Chick-Fil-A, seafood restaurant and a regal movie theater. Easy access to 281 for travel. A great hotel in a good location.

My company has several offices across SE Texas and this hotel is less than 10min away from our San Antonio office. The rooms are spacious and clean. I haven’t had a chance to get anything from the restaurant but I’ve heard it’s good. Service and staff are great. I enjoy staying here.
