Strengths:
Conveniently located near major highways – Wide range of stores, including department stores, specialty shops, and restaurants – Clean and well-maintained facilities – Friendly and helpful staff
Â
 Weaknesses:_ –Â
Limited dining options compared to other malls – Some areas of the mall can feel dated and in need of renovation – Parking can be challenging during peak hoursÂ
Â
Recommendation:
North Star Mall is a solid choice for shopping and dining in San Antonio. While it may not offer the most upscale or trendy experience, it provides a convenient and comfortable environment for shoppers of all ages. With some updates and renovations, North Star Mall could easily become a 5-star destination!

Located on River Walk in downtown San Antonio, Rivercenter features more than 100 retailers including 14 restaurants, IMAX, AMC Theatres, and the Marriott Hotel. It opened in 1988 as Rivercenter Mall. You can purchase boat tour tickets here, board the boats as well as get snacks and beverages to take with you on the tour. It’s a good place to start your River Walk visit, even if you do it by foot.

This Mall really gets a bad rap even though every time I’ve been here it’s always been a good experience. The Dick’s is always fully stocked, Kay jewelers always takes care of me, Ulta has some amazing customer service and Journey’s kids/adult always has the sizes I’m needing. Parking is good and the mall is always clean.

I go here to walk around. It has definitely changed since 2020. It’s so beautiful. All the water features and fountains. The stores are nice, lots of variety. If anyone has a chance to come to San Antonio this where the should visit. This really 2/4 places I like here in San Antonio. The restaurants are nice, like the food is great. I’ve been out here a few times now and haven’t had one bad experience. The movie theater is awesome.

The usual collection of places to spend your hard earned money. Company had a department team building thing at Pinstack. Like most places such as this, you have games, bowling, alright food and beverages.

One of my all time favorite malls in San Antonio, you! One of its kind. I love the niche community that this mall caters to, they always have something amazing going on here! From horror themed cons to vintage themed trade shows, it’s a place I’d come every other weekend. And who knows you might have a chance to meet some celebrities here too!

I stopped in Huebner Oaks Center today to visit the AAA membership center located within the shopping center. It was easy to find parking and there were no other issues encountered that should be noted.

To much moving things around all the time. Workers always standing around talking and deciding where and how to place pallets of merchandise to block Isles . I prefer being able to go in gat what I want and get out. Not having to go up and down each isle to locate what I Camino to get . I hate their upsetting tactics.

I thought malls in America were dead but I’m glad to see that this mall changes my thinking. This is a wonderful mall that is as good as any mall has ever been. There is one small exception, that being that there are only two escalators, each at the far ends of the mall, and that both were broken when I was there. That was more than annoying. But I loved the small and it’s opportunities to shop at brick and mortar stores. I was there for Monster con.
