Just tried Underground Smashburgers, the new concept inside Birotes Tortas Ahogadas, and I was seriously impressed. The Deluxe Burger on their homemade bun had perfectly grilled onions and tons of pickles. So good. They still have their original menu alongside their new Underground Smashburgers menu. In addition to their burgers being juicy and delicious, they’re also reasonably priced. My Deluxe Burger combo with fries and a drink was $10. What a steal for such good food. Try this place

A good, clean burger. The size of a what-a-burger with the unique taste of a homemade patty. I recommend the cheese burger  with chips and an IBC. The prices have changed due to market fluctuations, but still a good value. We arrived 10 minutes before closing, but Danny had no issues with that. As a matter of fact, someone else showed up 5 minutes PASSED closing and they STILL served them, 5 burgers no less.  Exceptional service.

I grew up eating at Piedras Negras De Noche almost every weekend as a kid growing up. We would go to Piedras Negras Cafe when it was by the train tracks, then we would have dinner at Piedras Negras De Noche some evenings. I had not been back in years until last week. My wife had a bad experience years ago and refuses to eat there with me. We went with about 40 family members after my Aunt Sarah’s funeral on Jan 9th. It was her favorite restaurant. My food was good, but they were super busy, and it took a while to get our food. It was in the middle of the lunch rush, so I’m sure they were not expecting such a large crowd on that particular day. My fajitas tasted like they had been frozen for a while, and my son’s barbacoa smelled fishy, so he didn’t touch it. Everything else I tasted was just like I remembered. The sweet tea, the chips and salsa, the rice and beans, tortillas. I hope I get a chance to go back soon and give them another chance. Everyone else who ate said their food was good.

really enjoyed our meal here. Came for the first time with my mom and we ordered the Phad Basil, Pepper Steak and something else with noodles that I can’t remember. It was very tasteful and my favorite was the spring rolls and the dipping sauce. Will definitely come again!
