I am having a love affair with my food.We eat a lot of steak. It’s our thing, our reward to ourselves, what we budget and save for. We’ve had a LOT of steaks – some good, some okay. This was the best one I’ve ever had. Ever. Above all steakhouses, above all 5 star rated, all of it. Next to the steak was absolutely everything else blowing our minds. I don’t even LIKE cooked carrots at all and I was in love with these. The happy hour appetizer let us try their lobster cakes – incredible. The pork belly mac and cheese probably ranks lower than all else for me, but to be fair to the mac I was too busy being in love with the sourdough service. My partner also had a mouthwatering lobster tail that rivaled my side of shrimp! Our server Sher was wonderful. In a time where service usually is mediocre or lackluster, she was a shining star! So friendly and helpful. Very attentive.We will be back as often as we possibly can.

Mako’s is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. Service is always great. And it has really nice ambiance – high ceilings, uncrowded tables, etc. Highly recommended.
Last night, we had the mussels, ribeye, and paella (not pictured) along with an Old Sampson and a Pomegranate Martini.

From the moment we were seated, Ebony made our dining experience absolutely outstanding. She greeted us with the warmest smile and genuine enthusiasm that instantly made us feel welcome. Throughout the evening, she was incredibly attentive without being overbearing—always checking in at just the right moments and anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask.
Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on. I ended up trying a dish I wouldn’t normally pick, and it was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Ebony’s energy, professionalism, and sincere care made our night feel special and memorable.
